Last week Wiru was on Ngarluma Country (Karratha, WA) with Winyama delivering drone training to Indigenous Rangers from across the Pilbara. The staged training program has been designed to prepare Indigenous Rangers to gain their RePL certification and support the use of drones in Cultural Land Management practices.

Show casing the various drones and their use cases for different aspects of work. Providing the CASA Know your drone rules that everyone must adhere to when operating a drone and also talking about the risks and hazards associated with mission planning for Drone work. I love doing these workshops to showcase opportunities within the Drone industry and how First Nations People can apply modern Drone technologies with traditional ways of thinking. |
